AstroSimply (“we”, “us”) makes a Vedic astrology app and this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain.

What we collect

Phone number — to sign you in. We use Truecaller one-tap (on Android, if you choose it), or a one-time code sent by WhatsApp or SMS. We never ask for a password.
Birth details — name, date, time and place of birth for you and any family profiles you add. These are needed to calculate a kundali.
Chat messages — the questions you ask the AI guide and its answers, so you can see your history and so we can improve answer quality.
Subscription status — receipts from Google Play or the App Store, verified on our servers. We never see your card or UPI details.
Daily digest — if you subscribe on this website: your chosen rashi and language, plus either your email address or a browser push subscription (a technical address your browser gives us for delivering notifications).
Basic technical data — such as device type, app version and error logs, used to keep the service running.

How we use it

To calculate your charts, send your daily guidance and run the features you use.
To answer your chat questions. Your chart and question are given to our AI model so it can explain the chart; the model does not calculate positions itself.
To verify purchases and provide the plan you paid for.
To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your birth details or chats for advertising.

Only with service providers that help us run AstroSimply, and only as needed: our hosting provider; WhatsApp (Meta) or an SMS provider to deliver sign-in codes; Truecaller if you use one-tap sign-in; Google and Apple for store billing and push notifications; and an email delivery service for the daily email. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Printed copies

If you order a printed kundali, we use your delivery address and phone number to print and deliver it. A human verifier checks the report before printing.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profiles, charts and chats within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, tax records for purchases). Digest subscriptions are removed as soon as you unsubscribe.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from the daily email using the link in any email, or turn off push from the button on our website or in your browser settings.
Access, correct or delete your data from the app’s settings, or by writing to us.
Children: AstroSimply is meant for adults. A parent or guardian may add a child’s profile to their own account.

We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you have a concern, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it.
